Blackthorn Tree
These are the blossoms of the Blackthorn (Prunus spinosa). Blackthorn flowers appear in early spring (March-April), giving-off their delicious “honey and almonds” aroma, whereas Hawthorn comes into bloom, with a green apple-like scent, from around May onwards.
